I was often asked how I to the semester / and came to Australia. To answer this question I must go back a little further, so we go back now in the year 2008.
It was a very cold and dark December day, where you wondered why they had ever stood up. The path to college was accompanied with a sort of ice / snow and rain we had the feeling that no matter what clothes you wore it would freeze anyway. Finally arrived, I sat myself as always in the back seat and opened my notebook. When the class its peak of boredom has reached me, I decided, to see the really more fun to half, after a dream vacation. I saw many interesting places where weather is perfect in December. As as Hawaii, Thailand and Australia! As luck would have it I was on a banner (which normally I avoid extreme) on the side of Gostralia.de that all you need to specifically prosecute semester abroad in Australia for all. And then the idea was born. Why gehehn on vacation, if you could not even to cancel the winter mostly ;-)
The idea consists in a short period of time fixed in my head. I read the entire web of GOstralia and convinced the same day my long Weggefährden, sometimes by marriage, high school together-making, study, roommate and friend Seb S., who was once here (but unfortunately also from other must cancel the trip ...) But yes
should anyone be asked ... A few days later, it said wiedermal, predrinking the Dani.

Me: How about then with a semester abroad in the next WAS? To Australia, namely because summer is when we have winter ...
he: mhh, cool idea. Since I'm there!
I showed him the site and we began to schreibn to the job. But at what university?? Well speak briefly to it, we are in the sunniest city in the world and the University of 8 kilometers from the sea, but has also subby Courses ... ;-)
What now followed was a bureaucratic act of unparalleled. Summary:
- about 10 pages application student loans + any evidence that - 3 or application form for the university + 1 Page rendered in English written application + proof of performance, (geschriebn oral, written about 4 pages) special English test at the university, about 6 or visa application (cost: 320 € ask ^ ^ like: You want to attack militarily ... Australia), book flight, pay tuition fees, accommodation cancel, postpone two rounds of examination, internship ... and in between countless student party's
the list is not exhaustive ;-) They should show only the most important things that must be observed. Now that I have now done everything and I will Fliegner in less than 9 hours, it was goodbye to all. Since I was only 2 days at home, this was of course difficult, so I say again at this point "bye" to all and 6 months go around faster than you think.
The parting has been some pain, but I must say that prevails just before the adventure, the anticipation and I'm glad I made the step. It is a unique chance in life and I am huge I.
about events in Australia, we will report here on our blog as often as possible. This coming Thursday we spent in Bangkok and on Friday we arrived in Perth, Australia. By then tweaked!
